Hi folks, I’m excited to be doing my own blog on playing and learning Gypsy Jazz Guitar. I’ll be posting transcriptions and charts, interviews and reviews, and news about the Gypsy Jazz scene. I’ll also post info about cool instruments and builders that I come across, and news about my band and other performers that I am in touch with. I encourage you to check out some other sites and
publications, including my friend Robin Nolan’s iPad publication. [You can find it on iTunes]. You can read my review of the reissue of ‘Hungaria,’ Swing Guitars,’ by Fapy Lafertin’s. You can also find some interviews and lessons that I have contributed to ‘Just Jazz Guitar’ Magazine, including my interview with Tchavolo Schmitt. [Print only, but back issues are available]. And lastly, I did an interview with Stochelo Rosenberg in a cool site called ‘Guitar International,’ [www.GuitarInternational.com] Anyhow, I hope that you all enjoy the posts and info to follow, please let me know, and feel free to help get the word out! [BTW, the picture at the top of this page was taken at the Mermaid Inn. Jim Stager on Bass, corner left, Mark Campiglia Violin, Me in the hat, and Joe Ellis, seated, partially obscured]. Oh, and my cool chapeau courtesy of Ellen And Randy Rosenberg]!
Great format for info on the Gypsy Jazz scene. Just what us Djangologists need. Lookin forward to some more pics and links to other good sites. Good Luck with this site.

Paul,
Thanks! Cold here now too, but probably not as bad, and no snow so far!
